With a big smile, a bigger heart, and a passion for helping people truly hear their lives, Sarah Cain is the bubbly audiologist with over 20 years’ experience behind The Ear Lady ltd.
After years of working in both NHS and big company owned private clinical settings, she saw an opportunity to do things differently so people feel more seen, more empowered, and heard. This is why The Ear Lady was created 6 years ago. She believes that effective care begins the moment you walk through our doors so with careful listening both to clinical needs and any concerns you may have she will take the time to discuss allowing for treatment plans that align with each clients goals and lifestyle so informed choices can be made throughout.

When she’s not helping our clients reconnect with the sounds they love or may no longer be hearing, you can find Sarah (or how some may know her as “Dew”) out and about exploring spiritual places, running retreats, and continuing to learn ways to bring more balance and intention into her work. Her mission is simple- to help people hear better, feel better, and live more fully.
Donna
Meet Donna- Donna is the glue that holds our team together. As our morning receptionist and Office Manager, she is the first warm, welcoming face you meet and the steady, reliable face working behind the scenes each day that were open. With her great personality and natural ability for working with numbers and finance, as a result she is currently training to do her bookkeeping qualification with us to relive sarah and free up more valuable clinical time for our clients. She plays a key role in keeping the shop running smoothly, managing day-to-day tasks, and supporting the whole team with efficiency, care and making sure we are always stocked up with chocolate
Donna’s positivity and ability to stay organised under pressure and ensure everything is handled with professionalism and attention to detail. Her dedication, energy, and leadership make her an invaluable part of our team and an important face you meet within your hearing journey with us. Jo
Meet Jo she is our lovely afternoon receptionist and the newest member of our team she is always here to welcome you with a friendly smile on her face and happy to direct you to your necessary appointment. With her positive attitude, kindness and is always happy to help wherever she can. Not forgetting she makes a great cuppa while you wait in our cosy reception area. She plays an important role in creating the warm, caring environment The Ear Lady is known for.

Zosias
Meet Zosia. our Hearing Care Assistant here at The Ear Lady.
Zosia plays a key role within the clinic, providing professional ear wax removal as well as servicing, maintenance, and repairs of hearing aids to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.
Zosia began her journey with us as a receptionist after seeing a sign in the window after living abroad in Cyprus, after a few months her natural enthusiasm, dedication, and genuine interest in hearing care quickly stood out. With an ever growing passion for helping people, combined with her eagerness to learn, made it an easy and natural decision for Sarah to take Zosia under her wing and mentor her within the business.
In early 2025, Zosia successfully completed her training and qualifications with the Audiology Academy in early 2025. Since then, Zosia has been confidently and compassionately caring for our clients’ ears, always taking the time to make them feel comfortable, informed, and well looked after.
Zosia brings fantastic energy, confidence, and warmth to The Ear Lady team. caring deeply about ear health and takes great pride in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care. Her friendly approach and professionalism help create a welcoming environment where clients feel at ease and supported every step of the way. She has a big love for the sun and we love her being our little ray of sunshine within the team.

I’m usually cautious and sceptical about commercially-positioned (i.e. with the exception of equivalent hospital / confirmed medical practitioner) audiology and hearing-aid practices and practitioners. Her objectives of determining the shortfall, identifying the best-case corrective equipment and, most important of all, being able to procure the best-case models and setting and adjusting it to perfection are outstanding, and constitute a very welcome ability in comparison with the average unconvincing products and practitioners in the commercial market-place.
I also found Sarah’s administrative and equipment resources excellent and comforting. Appointments are well arranged and involve no waiting; the consulting area and facilities are amenable and reassuring; the technical means of testing, recording and equipping one appropriately and precisely are all infinitely trustworthy and reflect considerable experience. I found the testing and trialling stages to be important and skilfully conducted, with clear and detailed explanations accompanying every stage and outcome. This is in considerable contrast to High-Street and even hospital equivalents, where preparatory and explanatory steps are taken at speed and without respect nor sensitivity in evidence as far as patient expectations and satisfaction are concerned.
